It is clear that civil initiative have a voice in conduct of Convention processes, identification of Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity and List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding, determination of Best Practices and application of international aid funds. It is vital to keep on the exchange of experience and information among accredited NGOs to the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in intergovernmental committee meetings and also, it is of high importance for NGOs to present their views with a declaration for successful implementation of the Convention. Through the agency of NGO forums, representatives of various NGOs from many countries come together and think over the implementation of the Convention. These representatives share their own experiences, exchange information and act with the sense of shared wisdom against problems. And along with supporting all these civil processes, Association of Intangible Cultural Heritage Institute value the participation of heritage practitioners and transmitters. One of the primary objectives of the Association is to enable owners of heritage to have an active role in processes of policy-making, administration and application.
