4th Festival of Flower Crocus at Hamamönü orchestrated on March 8, 2017 in collaboration with Gazi University Department of Turkish Folklore, Ankara Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum and The Institute for Intangible Cultural Heritage. This festival, which is a revitalization of tradition walking around in groups with flower crocus to herald the coming of spring, was organized with participation of students, children and families. At the same time, as it was International Women’s Day, meddah performer Kenan Olpak narrated a story from the Book of Dede Korkut in connection with this special day.
